Book research

I went to library to get reference of silhouette. I found two different book about silhouette.
One is 'silhouettes, shadows and cutouts; history and modern use
 (by Norman Laliberte and Alex Mogelon)
The book states the history of the silhouette, silhouettes in the modern era and various works related to silhouettes.


I scanned below pictures which is an interesting page of the book.

before looked this page, I thought I have to use black and white colour on my projects. now, I will tried to use complementary colour to the background of pages.

I was impressed by this page of mood. It looks simple and meaningful and little mistery mood.

Additionally, this scan pages of the book shows cutout works. I think it also represent the shape and image  like silhouettes.

Secondly, the other book is 'The silhouettes of Luise Duttenhofer'(1968) by Koschlig, Manfred.
Unfortunally,this book written by another language (not in English) therefore, I could not read this book, I just refer to images and the  layout of page.
