Major project #8 final part 1.

project 1. Jekyll and Hyde

 

This image was final silhouette piece of first project.

I started to think how can I put a typo into the image and how to make typo looks like the image. 

Test 1.

Firstly, I cut an outline of final image. then, I filled in bright colour to recognise the figure.

I found a lyrics that is one of musical songs of Jekyll and hyde.

the song is called 'confrontation'. It is suitable to my project because of the theme 'conflict'. 



 

After create new layer, I started to write down on the image.

I checked that the typo reflect the figure clearly.

 this was first test.

However, I was not happy with this work. so I tried to change colour of the typo.

Test 2.

 I pushed (tool) button in a typo layer.

when you lock this (tool), only the typo affect on effects without background.

then, I painted white colour on the typo.  

I put the background and Jekyll image back.

But, I felt it still need to fix more.

Test 3.

I think the problem is brush tool. so I started to put real text.

But, It was not good piece of work.

so I tried finding other way.

Test 4.

I tried to find suitable font that matched to my theme of project.

this screenshot shows testing brush sample.

Finally, I found suitable brush, I filled the figure with the lyrics again.

 

This is my first final piece of project.

I really enjoyed the process. In addition, I learned more about Photoshop effects and illustrator tools than before. now, I got specific idea of project, Therefore, I will do next piece as soon.
